Who Is Glenda?

I never knew my love for sewing Barbie clothes when I was little would someday turn into a fun pasttime, turned hobby, turned mini business. I've always been a very creative person and love bringing "life" into the little gnomie creations I make.

All of the gnomes I create are made from patterns I've drafted myself and many of the fabrics I use for arms, legs, and hats for my gnomes are made from designs I've created myself in Adobe Illustrator and printed on my own fabric in a fabric printer I have in my sewing room. It really is as cool as it sounds! My heart goes into every gnome I put together.

I'm a mom, a wife, a career woman, a hobbyist, and a creator. I love working outside in the spring, summer & fall months bringing life to our yard & garden through plants and landscaping. My husband, Joe, and I camp every weekend we possibly can. We love visiting breweries & wineries, playing bingo & bowling. I am terrible but he is a bowling genius! We also fish - Joe is an avid fisherman & has taught me everything I know about the sport.

My soul mate, Joe, and I were married in October 2023 after dating for almost 6 years. I have two children from my previous marriage - Jacob & Leasha

Jake lives close to us, is an adult, and we are very close. My daughter Leasha passed away in 2011 when she was 14 from illness. Sewing & designing became my therapy after she passed. I know she would've loved my little gnomies - her & I were very close.
