Hi! I’m Glenda – the designer, printer, and maker who creates all of these super cute designs you see in my shop. I love to make things and I love to sew! I have a long history in graphic design as well so I created Gnomes & More Decor so I could share my love of this with you.
Each design you see is created by me in Adobe Illustrator. Once the design is created, I print it on special fabric that runs through a special printer designed just for printing on fabric. Once the design is printed, I cut it to the appropriate size and finish the item by sewing it by machine and/or hand sewing.
My favorite part of designing all of these items is hearing how the items I’ve created have made an impact on your life! I love to hear your stories about how you use the items as it fills my heart with joy to know that something I’ve made has brought a smile to someone’s face.
I love to receive ideas from you of items you would like to see in my shop. I’m creative and think outside of the box but there are always ideas I haven’t thought of.
When I’m not making new items, you can find me planting flowers or enjoying the outdoors. My fiance, Joe, and I are getting married October 2023. We love to camp in our RV and explore new places. You wouldn’t believe how many fun camping spots there are within 4-6 hours of our home!! Our Pomeranian, Chico, usually comes with us, too. I also work part-time at a local Church, where the Congregation feels like family, as an Administrative Assistant/Treasurer.
I’m blessed to be a mom to two wonderful children. My son, Jacob, is a young adult who I am very close with and my beautiful daughter, Leasha, is watching over us from Heaven as she passed away in 2011 at the age of 14 from influenza & pneumonia. Her can-do attitude is what inspired me to start Gnomes & More Decor and her vibrant personality can be seen in many of my designs.
